The Manufactured Housing Institute recognizes outstanding industry role models and leaders. This distinguished honor is a testament to the quality of our people, our homes and our customers.
MHI (Manufactured Housing Institute) is the national trade organization representing all segments of the manufactured and modular housing industries, including manufacturers, retailers, community owners, suppliers, financial institutions, state associations and developers. Nominations for this award were made by members of the MHI Manufacturers Division and all MHI members were eligible to vote in the selection process, making this award one of the most prestigious honors bestowed in the industry. The award was presented April 17, 2013, during the 2013 National Congress & Expo for Manufactured and Modular Housing, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
MHI President and CEO Richard Jennison stated the following about the award winners, “These award winners demonstrate the strong spirit of the industry in the way they operate their business. These industry role models have made significant contributions to the industry and are leading the way in providing outstanding customer service, products, value, creative solutions and state of the art homes for today’s homebuyers. They are being recognized today for their vision, dedication and energy in enhancing and moving the manufactured and modular housing industries forward.”
Commenting on the announcement, Joe Stegmayer, chairman and CEO of Cavco Industries, stated, “We are very honored to be recognized by the MHI and our industry peers with this prestigious award. It reflects our commitment to industry leadership through innovation, quality and high customer satisfaction. We believe that housing choices are based on value, and consumers are looking for a homebuilder that keeps its promises. Through our focused efforts, we have enjoyed a longstanding reputation for delivering value with exceptional customer service and superior products.”
MHI is the preeminent national trade association for the manufactured and modular home business, representing all segments of these industries before Congress and the Federal government. Every year industry leaders vote for the companies that are considered the best in their class and honored for their leadership and commitment to the industry.
